Romanian software provider Zitec plans to hire 20 employees by the end of 2014
Zitec, one of the leading local providers of online applications, reached a team of over 100 people in the first half of the year, with 20% more than at the end of 2013. Additionally, the company plans to hire 20 more people this year through recruitment and internship programs.
Established in June 2003, Zitec started their business with an investment of less than 3,000 Euro and a team of three young automation engineers, with a passion for online applications.
The company’s main objectives have been the business expansion and their team enlargement as well as diversifying their software solutions and services portfolio.
Late last year, Zitec had over 90 members in the team and from the beginning of 2014 until now, has already recruited 18 new colleagues. Half of them occupied positions in the Web Development department, 17% have joined the Online Marketing department, and the rest joined, in equal proportions, the Quality Assurance departments, HR and Operations.

As of July 1st, the company also started internship programs, with the duration of three months. The selected participants receive a training period and will then work with Zitec’s current employees on different projects. Depending on their progress during the internship program they will have the opportunity of joining the team permanently.
Recently, Zitec expanded their office space with another floor in the Phoenix Tower building, occupying over 1,750 square meters providing space for a number of over 150 employees.
