The first mixed-use real estate project in Timisoara to be finalised 2018

Openville Timisoara complex is designed to be the largest mixed-use real estate project in Western Romania. Set to be completed by the end of 2018, the project includes 100,000 sqm of class A offices and 47,000 sqm of retail space, going up in front of the existing Iulius Mall Timisoara. An underground passage for car traffic and 1,500 new parking spaces will also be part of the project that is estimated to cost more than €220m. The investment is the largest infusion of private capital in the real estate sector in the West of the country.

Openville will offer a 360 experience to the citizen, bringing together all the elements needed for convenient and easy-to-access relaxation facilities, such as shopping areas, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and a playground.

There will also be a fresh market area, which will include fast-food type restaurants, as well as bakeries, butcheries and locations with natural food products.

Openville will include four halls for special events, with a total capacity of 2,500 people, designed for different types of corporate or personal event.

„We will create a vibrant space that will transform Timisoara in a cosmopolitan city that its inhabitants, who are so open to multiculturalism, truly deserve. At the same time, the project will develop a regional business pole that will stimulate economic growth and create thousands of jobs,” said Iulian Dascălu, the president of the Iulius company group.
