New Outsourcing destination – Belarus : the country Prime Minister states the importance of this line of business
During a ceremony addressed to the business community and held at the end of last year in Minsk, Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich depicted a very promising scenery in regards to the country’s outsourcing business.
The Premier admitted the fact that the outsourcing field needs to be improved on major domestic companies. “The government sees great opportunities here in terms of the number of people involved and the gross domestic product” Mikhail Myasnikovich explained.
As per the Premier, entrepreneurs and business unions should actively offer these services (including to big companies). This will help relieve the workforce of companies from important, but non-core duties.
“Intermediate services are in great demand today. You should work more efficiently on it,” the Premier said addressing the business community.
The above statement reflects the support this industry has from the government’s part (where we can also add preferential taxation regime – including exemption from VAT, profit and real estate taxes companies willing to outsource benefit from).
As an outsourcing destination, Belarus has plenty to offer : situated in Eastern Europe, surrounded by Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Russia and Ukraine, the state offers competitive prices for companies willing to relocate parts of their business, IT professionals, highly skilled workforce and a stable economic climate.
