CGS plans to hire over 200 employees by the end of 2015

Computer Generated Solutions (CGS), the largest outsourcing player on the local market (with a number of 3,000 employees in Romania) plans to hire over 200 professionals by the end of 2015. The recruitment process will take place in the company’s four branches located in different cities spread around the country: Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu and Targu-Jiu.

“This year we plan to expand several projects located in our current locations in Romania. Regarding the available vacancies, we are looking for language literates, fluent in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Hungarian” – Vladimir Sterescu, country manager, CGS Romania declared

The great majority of the company’s employees work on customer care, customer support, helpdesk, account receivable or customer relations representative positions. Almost 70% of them speak at least one foreign language at an advanced level while the company the company provides services in 18 languages. At the same time 90% of employees are students or have graduated from a higher education institution.

Employees that are both proficient in IT and are foreign languages literates are hard to find

“At present, we find it difficult to recruit candidates who are proficient in one or more foreign languages and also have IT or sales skills” – Vladimir Sterescu added

Last year the company inaugurated their fourth location in Romania, at Targu Jiu, a branch that currently has over 100 employees working at the moment.

CGS has 1,400 employees in Bucharest (branch opened in 2006), CGS has 1,400 employees in Bucharest (opened in 2008), 500 in Sibiu (center founded in 2011) and around 100 in Targu-Jiu (center opened last year).

“At present, the companies are actively looking for employees that are fluent in both French and German. This fact alones triggers specific demands coming from the employees, in terms of higher salaries and better compensations” – Sterescu added

Last year the company had a turnover of 31 mil EUR and a net profit of 6.3 mil EUR, according to the Ministry of Finance.

“One of the factors that influenced these figures for CGS Romania was the branch we opened in Targu Jiu. Also, the number of customers has increased, hence this turnover. Our development strategy includes constant enlargement in terms of European customers, particularly in Central and Western Europe, where we believe there is great potential and demand our company can meet” – Sterescu added

CGS is a company founded in 1984 in New York that provides business technology solutions, e-commerce, consultancy, messaging services, software development and training services for customers in North America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.
